Hurst Lin was ranked #46 on the Forbes Midas list this year. This honor marks Lin’s 7th appearance on the list.
David Chao named to Gold House’s A100 list
David Chao has been named to the Gold House A100 list. The list celebrates 100 Asian and Pacific Islanders whose positive impacts have been felt across both culture and society.
DCM named to 36Kr’s “Best Venture Capital” List for 2022
36Kr’s newly released list names DCM as one of the 100 Best Venture Capital Institutions in China as voted by entrepreneurs. Hurst Lin, Co-Founder of DCM China and General Partner was also recognized as one of the “Most Popular Investors for Entrepreneurs”.

Mendel raised $40M in Series B round
Mendel raised $40M in Series B funding in a round led by Oak HC/FT. DCM also participated in the round after leading the clinical AI startup’s Series A round back in June 2021, and co-leading the startup’s seed round back in March 2017. The company plans to use its new funds to launch its new product, Resolve.
Fountain raised $100M in Series C extension round
Enterprise hiring company Fountain raised $100M in a Series C extension round led by B Capital Group. DCM participated in the extension after leading the company’s Series B round in the fall of 2019. Fountain plans to use its new funds to expand its applicant tracking system.
Brigit named to the Forbes Fintech 50 2022 list
Brigit was honored as a “newcomer” to the Forbes Fintech 50 2022 list. DCM participated in the fintech startup’s Series A round in January 2021 after leading its seed funding round. Now, the platform has half a million paid users and over three million people using its free account offerings.
Metafy acquires GamerzClass to expand classes for gamers
Metafy, a startup that works to match gamers with gaming coaches, acquired GamerZClass to expand the company offering instruction for more games than ever before. DCM co-led Metafy’s $5.5M seed extension round in May 2021.
China
Sensors Data raised $200M in Series D round
Big data analytics startup Sensors Data raised $200M in Series D funding. Since leading the Series B round in early 2017, DCM has participated in all subsequent rounds including this Series D financing.
Japan
CADDi establishes its first overseas subsidiary in Vietnam
CADDi, a B2B manufacturing ordering platform, has established an overseas subsidiary in Vietnam. The startup intends to use this expansion as an opportunity to scale the company globally. DCM led CADDi’s Seed and Series A funding round in 2018.
